What is a Chiropractor?

A chiropractor is a doctor of physical medicine that focuses on the movement and biomechanics of joints.

What do Chiropractors do?

They focus on joints throughout your body and help them move properly. By allowing proper movement to the joint, abnormal stress on the injured tissues will decrease and the body is able to begin the healing process.

Why do the joints stop moving properly?

It is very hard to detect the exact reason a joint becomes dysfunctional. It may be due to a significant trauma such as a car accident, an old sports injury, or a slip and a fall, but it can also be caused by minor traumas that add up over time such as poor posture, muscle imbalances and certain weaknesses throughout the body. No matter what caused the dysfunction, the healing process can usually be achieved with research proven strengthening techniques, manual stretches and adjustments.
