CLINICAL

 

LPN (1.19) .9 FT This position is responsible for support of the provider in providing quality medical care to patients as well as monitoring physician’s schedule and making appropriate adjustments. This is a fast paced Family Practice. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Assists physician with office procedures, collection and maintenance of accurate patient documents. Ensures that exam rooms are cleaned and stocked, working toward maintaining a safe and clean environment. Upon clinician direction, the Medical Assistant is responsible for obtaining HMO referral authorization when needed. The medical assistant is responsible for maintaining CPR certification as well as complying with other hospital regulations. Wound Care Experience Preferred

LPN Office Float (2.19) FT .8  This position is responsible for support of the physician in providing quality medical care to patients as well as monitoring physician’s schedule and making appropriate adjustments. This is a fast paced Family Practice. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Assists physician with office procedures, collection and maintenance of accurate patient documents. Ensures that exam rooms are cleaned and stocked, working toward maintaining a safe and clean environment. Upon clinician direction, the Medical Assistant is responsible for obtaining HMO referral authorization when needed. The medical assistant is responsible for maintaining CPR certification as well as complying with other hospital regulations. Must be willing to float to several offices.

 

New     Medical Assistant/ Front Desk (20.19) 1.0 This position is responsible for scheduling and greeting patients, monitoring and updating the physician’s schedule and informing patients as to the approximately length of delays in schedule. Also responsible for updating patient demographics and obtaining current insurance information.  May assist with inputting charges into the computer system, accepting and posting payments, reconciling daily charges and assisting patients with insurance questions. Wound Care Office

 

Phlebotomist (102.18) PRN The Phlebotomist reports directly to the Lab Manager and is responsible for greeting outpatients and processes laboratory test requisitions according to established policies and procedures. Types various forms, reports, and memorandums; answers telephones, taking and relaying messages; as well as performing a variety of miscellaneous clerical duties. Performs skilled phlebotomy procedures including venipuncture and capillary collection. Must be able to travel to physician offices, health fairs, and nursing homes to complete draws.

 

Registered Nurse – Med/Surg (3.19,10.19) .3 Nights, (17.19) .6 Days This position is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with all ancillary and patient care team members. Consistently demonstrates standards of professional nursing practice in all clinic settings. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR, ACLS, PALS certifications are required; Neonatal certification is recommended.

 

Registered Nurse - Emergency Dept. (69.18) PRN This position is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with all ancillary and patient care team members. Consistently demonstrates standards of professional nursing practice. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required; CPR, ACLS, and PALS, certifications are required with Neonatal certification is recommended. Prior emergency department hospital experience preferred.

 

Respiratory Therapist (87.18) PRN This position is responsible for administering patient Respiratory therapy treatments within the scope of education, and in accordance to physician orders. Licensure required

 

Surgical Technologist (72.18) .8 (Days) This position is responsible to assist in the nursing care and preparation of surgical patients.  Functions as a member of the OR sterile team, creating and maintaining a sterile field and issuing instruments to surgeons. Maintains proper care and storage of supplies and equipment used for operating room and emergency room patient care. Mandatory call rotation requires 30 minute response time. Certification preferred

 

 

NON-CLINICAL

 

New     Cook (19.19) .5 (Days) This position is responsible for preparation and services of meals for patients, employees, Meals on Wheels, and special events as planned by the Food & Nutrition Services coordinator.
