Clinical Job Openings
RN – Emergency Dept. (90.16) PRN 0.3, (72.16) PRN, (40.17) PRN 0.3 (24 hours per pay) is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with all ancillary and patient care team members. Consistently demonstrates standards of professional nursing practices in all clinic settings. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR, ACLS, & PALS certifications are required; Neonatal certifications are recommended. Prior hospital experience preferred.
RN – OB (2.17) PRN, (44.17) PT 0.6 (48 hours per pay) is responsible to work under the direction of the physician providing a professional nursing assessment and initiating nursing care to patients presenting in the OB department. Determines the stages of labor of OB patients and the well-being of neonates. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to child-bearing women and newborn infants. Must have the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, and interpret the appropriate information to identify each patient’s needs in relation to age, Hospital, and department policy. Relates effectively with other departments of continuity of care’ maintaining satisfactory relations with physician, ancillary departments, and other nursing units. Participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and review and enhancement of current policies, procedures, and skills. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR and Neonatal certification are required; STABLE, ACLS and PALS certification required. Must successfully complete AWHONN within one year of hire.
RN – Med Surg (15.17) PRN, (55.17) PRN is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with all ancillary and patient care team members. Consistently demonstrates standards of professional nursing practices in all clinic settings. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR, ACLS, & PALS certifications are required; Neonatal certifications are recommended. Prior hospital experience preferred.
Phlebotomist (14.17) PRN is responsible for greeting outpatients and process laboratory test requisitions according to policies and procedures. Performs skilled phlebotomy procedures including venipuncture and capillary collection. High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an accredited program required. CPR required.
Physician's Office LPN (34.17) PT 0.6 (48 hours per pay), (57.17) FT-Float (64 hours per pay) is responsible to administer nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of the physician. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Assists physician with office procedures, collection and maintenance of accurate patient documents. Ensures that exam rooms are cleaned and stocked, working toward maintaining a safe and clean environment. Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a valid state nursing license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse. CPR certification is also required. One to two years previous work experience in a physician office is preferred. Must be able to perform nursing skills and operate equipment. Excellent time management and organizational skills are very helpful. Requires excellent communications skills, both oral and written, as well as being computer literate.
Nurse Practitioner (59.17) FT (60.17) FT Seeking one full time position available in a primary care practice. This individual will have one early day and one late day to provide more access for patients. There are additional full and part time positions open to start a new service that will see patients in late afternoon and early evenings. Service will be open 6 to 7 days per week. Possession of a Master’s Degree in Nursing and relevant nursing practitioner training/certifications in the specialty area for the position held.
Central Sterile Tech (61.17) PRN is responsible for washing, sterilizing instruments and equipment, and proper care and storage of supplies and equipment used for the operating room and emergency room patient care. Graduate of an accredited ORT/Surgical technician program with current CPR certification or Central Processing Technician program.
Surgical Technician (62.17) FT is responsible to assist in the nursing care and preparation of surgical patients. Functions as a member of the OR sterile team, creating and maintaining a sterile field and issuing instruments to surgeons. Maintains proper care and storage of supplies and equipment used for operating room and emergency room patient care. Graduate of an accredited ORT/surg tech program with current CPR certification.
Housekeeper (54.17) PRN is responsible to maintain a safe, clean, sanitary environment in all areas of the facility. High school diploma or equivalent is desirable, but not necessary. Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare setting preferred. Work is performed indoors, well-lit, professional environment. Often times work alone and independently. Job may be physically strenuous at times.
