RN – Med Surg (17.14) PRN, (45.14) PT (0.6), (50.14) PRN (0.3) Is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with all ancillary and patient care team members. Consistently demonstrates standards of professional nursing practices in all clinic settings. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR certification is required; ACLS, PALS and Neonatal certifications are recommended. Prior hospital experience preferred but not required.
Physician Office LPN – Float (30.14) PT (0.7) Responsible for office functions as well including check in and check out of patients, posting charges and payments, collection of co-pays, batching of credit cards, and preparing deposits. May be asked to support of the physician in providing quality medical care to patients as well as monitoring physician’s schedule and making appropriate adjustments. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Assists physician with office procedures, collection and maintenance of accurate patient documents. Ensures that exam rooms are cleaned and stocked, working toward maintaining a safe and clean environment. Is responsible for obtaining HMO referral authorization when needed. Ohio LPN license is required. One to two years previous work experience in a physician office is preferred.
RN – OB (15.14) PRN, (60.14) FT (0.9) Is responsible to work under the direction of the physician providing a professional nursing assessment and initiating nursing care to patients presenting in the OB department. Determines the stages of labor of OB patients and the well-being of neonates. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to child-bearing women and newborn infants. Must have the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, and interpret the appropriate information to identify each patient’s needs in relation to age, Hospital, and department policy. Relates effectively with other departments of continuity of care’ maintaining satisfactory relations with physician, ancillary departments, and other nursing units. Participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and review and enhancement of current policies, procedures, and skills. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR and Neonatal certification are required; STABLE, ACLS and PALS certification preferred. Must successfully complete AWHONN within one year of hire.
Phlebotomist – (61.14) PRN is responsible for greeting outpatients and processes laboratory test requisitions according to established policies and procedures. Types various forms, reports, and memorandums; answers telephones, taking and relaying messages; as well as performing a variety of miscellaneous clerical duties. Performs skilled phlebotomy procedures including venipuncture and capillary collection as well as bleeding time tests. High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program required. BLS required. 1-2 years phlebotomy experience preferred.
Fitness Center Attendant/Class Instructor – (49.14) PRN (0.1) is responsible for overseeing fitness center activities, as well as orientating new fitness members to the facility. Also, responsible for proper and safe fitness instruction of all members involved in the Health Fit Fitness Programs. Work with the Fitness Class Coordinator to assist with fitness classes as needed. Instructor requirements: must be 18 years old, CPR certification or be willing to take a CPR class, and one of the following: Two or Four year degree in health, exercise science, recreation or physical activity-related field, current professional health or fitness license, nationally recognized fitness instructor/trainer certification. Fridays 11am-6:30pm, Saturdays 7am-12pm, teach one class either on Tuesdays or Thursdays 9am-10am.
Guest Services Representative (62.14) PRN and is responsible for greeting and registering patients, ensuring that all patient information is current and correct. Copies insurance cards, receives co-payments, and hospital payments. Responsible for preparing daily deposits and physical appointments. Requires computer and general office equipment knowledge and the ability to communicate in a professional manner. Excellent customer service and prioritization skills are a must as well as the ability to work as a team. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Patient Accounts Representative (63.14) FT is responsible to review patient account files, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all documents. Determines appropriate billing and distribution and processes statements in an accurate and timely manner. Monitors outstanding accounts and applies late charges, completes related forms, processes refunds for overpayment and receives and answers billing related inquiries. Prior hospital billing experience preferred.
