Clinical Job Openings
RN – Emergency Dept. (90.16) PRN 0.3, (72.16) PRN, (40.17) PRN 0.3 (24 hours per pay) is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with all ancillary and patient care team members. Consistently demonstrates standards of professional nursing practices in all clinic settings. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR, ACLS, & PALS certifications are required; Neonatal certifications are recommended. Prior hospital experience preferred.
RN – OB (2.17) PRN, (44.17) PT 0.6 (48 hours per pay) is responsible to work under the direction of the physician providing a professional nursing assessment and initiating nursing care to patients presenting in the OB department. Determines the stages of labor of OB patients and the well-being of neonates. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to child-bearing women and newborn infants. Must have the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, and interpret the appropriate information to identify each patient’s needs in relation to age, Hospital, and department policy. Relates effectively with other departments of continuity of care’ maintaining satisfactory relations with physician, ancillary departments, and other nursing units. Participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and review and enhancement of current policies, procedures, and skills. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR and Neonatal certification are required; STABLE, ACLS and PALS certification required. Must successfully complete AWHONN within one year of hire.
RN – Med Surg (15.17) PRN is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. LPN – Med/Surg (51.17) 0.6 (48 hours per pay) is responsible to administer nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to patients, and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Must be a graduate of an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nurses currently licensed in the State of Ohio. CPR certification is also required. One to two years previous work experience in a hospital setting is preferred. Must be able to perform nursing skills and operate equipment as designated on nursing skills inventory. Excellent time management and organizational skills are very helpful. Requires excellent communications skills, both oral and written, as well as being computer literate.
Respiratory Therapist (73.16) PRN is responsible for administering patient respiratory therapy treatments within the scope of education and in accordance to physician orders. Position requires CPR and neonatal certification along with ACLS and PALS recommended. Position is for every other weekend, 7 AM- 7 PM plus fill in as needed.
Phlebotomist (14.17) PRN, (42.17) PT (40 hours per pay) is responsible for greeting outpatients and process laboratory test requisitions according to policies and procedures. Performs skilled phlebotomy procedures including venipuncture and capillary collection. High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an accredited program required. CPR required.
Physician's Office LPN (34.17) PT 0.6 (48 hours per pay), (35.17) FT 1.0 (80 hours per pay) is responsible to administer nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of the physician. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Assists physician with office procedures, collection and maintenance of accurate patient documents. Ensures that exam rooms are cleaned and stocked, working toward maintaining a safe and clean environment. Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a valid state nursing license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse. CPR certification is also required. One to two years previous work experience in a physician office is preferred. Must be able to perform nursing skills and operate equipment. Excellent time management and organizational skills are very helpful. Requires excellent communications skills, both oral and written, as well as being computer literate.
Registered Dietitian (45.17) Part Time (40 hours per pay) is responsible for planning and organizing the activities of the Food and Nutrition Services Department to provide quality food services for patients. He/she provides a consultative role to the Food and Nutrition Services department to assure compliance with standards of practice and regulatory requirements. Provides nutrition education to inpatients, outpatients, and the community, and serves as a consultant to the physician in all areas of diet therapy and nutrition. The Dietitian works closely with the Food Services Department team members and the food committee. He/she also works closely with team member wellness, occupational health, weight management and other hospital nutrition related education programs. This position requires successful completion of requirements for dietetic registration with The American Dietetic Association. The individual must also be licensed to practice in the State of Ohio. Three to five year’s prior work experience in clinical dietetics and/or food services management is desirable.
Cook (47.17) PRN, (48.17) is responsible for preparation and services of meals for patients, employees and special events as planned by the Food & Nutrition Services coordinator. Experience in food preparation as well as preparation of prescribed diets is recommended.
Housekeeper (52.17) PRN is responsible to maintain a safe, clean, sanitary environment in all areas of the facility. High school diploma or equivalent is desirable, but not necessary. Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare setting preferred. Work is performed indoors, well-lit, professional environment. Often times work alone and independently. Job may be physically strenuous at times.
Human Resources Manager (53.17) FT 1.0 (80 hours per pay) The Human Resources Manager (HR) originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented; high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. Promotes high professional standards, positive interpersonal relations and adherence to Community Memorial Hospital’s Behavioral Standards. The HR Manager is responsible for the development of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the organization's business goals and ties to the hospital’s strategic plan. The HR Manager coordinates the implementation of people-related services, special events, recognition programs, benefits, policies, and programs; reports to the CEO; and assists and advises company managers about Human Resources issues. The HR manager also provides or coordinates training on interviewing, selection, coaching, corrective action, and other legal or HR issues. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Bachelor’s preferred. Education may be substituted with current / recent HR management experiences. Excellent interpersonal, coaching, communication, and consultative skills at all levels. The ability to engage with and win the respect of leaders to successfully influence them on key change initiatives. Current experience with worker’s compensation, FMLA, ADA, ACA, and other key laws and initiatives impacting the workforce.
