RN – Med Surg (27.16) PT 0.6, (33.16) PT 0.6, Is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with all ancillary and patient care team members. Consistently demonstrates standards of professional nursing practices in all clinic settings. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. BLS, ACLS, PALS and Neonatal certifications are required. Prior hospital experience preferred but not required.
RN – Emergency Dept. (90.16) PRN 0.3, (72.16) PRN, Is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with all ancillary and patient care team members. Consistently demonstrates standards of professional nursing practices in all clinic settings. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR, ACLS, & PALS certifications are required; Neonatal certifications are recommended. Prior hospital experience preferred.
RN – OB (15.14) PRN, (2.17) PRN, Is responsible to work under the direction of the physician providing a professional nursing assessment and initiating nursing care to patients presenting in the OB department. Determines the stages of labor of OB patients and the well-being of neonates. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to child-bearing women and newborn infants. Must have the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, and interpret the appropriate information to identify each patient’s needs in relation to age, Hospital, and department policy. Relates effectively with other departments of continuity of care’ maintaining satisfactory relations with physician, ancillary departments, and other nursing units. Participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and review and enhancement of current policies, procedures, and skills. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR and Neonatal certification are required; STABLE, ACLS and PALS certification required. Must successfully complete AWHONN within one year of hire.
Respiratory Therapist (73.16) PRN Is responsible for administering patient respiratory therapy treatments within the scope of education and in accordance to physician orders. Position requires CPR and neonatal certification along with ACLS and PALS recommended. Position is for every other weekend, 7 AM- 7 PM plus fill in as needed.
Radiologic Tech (1.17) Full Time 0.85, is responsible to independently perform a variety of diagnostic procedures at a technical level, under the direction of a radiologist. Prefer CT experience. Associates Degree of Applied Science, Radiologic Technology with ARRT certification, licensed to practice in the State of Ohio. This position is for third shift. Position also requires BLS certification. Benefits eligible position.
Physician Office Nurse (3.17) Full Time 0.9 Is responsible to administer nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of the physician. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Assists physician with office procedures, collection and maintenance of accurate patient documents. Ensures that exam rooms are cleaned and stocked. Graduate of an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nursing and currently licensed to practice nursing in the State of Ohio and Indiana. CPR certification is required.
Certified Medical Assistant (4.17) Part Time 0.6, is responsible for support of the physician in providing quality medical care to patients as well as monitoring physician’s schedule and making appropriate adjustments. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Assists physician with office procedures, collection and maintenance of accurate patient documents. Ensures that exam rooms are cleaned and stocked, maintaining a safe and clean environment. Upon clinical direction, the Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for obtaining HMO referral authorization when needed. The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for maintaining CPR certification.
Med Tech or MLT (3.16) PT 0.5 Is responsible to perform chemical tests on body fluids and exudates; studies morphological constituents of blood, isolates, and identifies bacterial agents present in various specimens; and performs blood bank procedures to provide diagnostic data for physicians necessary in the treatment of diseases. Assists in clerical duties of the department and performs skilled phlebotomy procedures including venipuncture, and capillary collection. Med Tech requires a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, as well as ASCP or equivalent certification is required. In the event of a new graduate certification is required within an agreed upon time frame, preferably one year. BLS required. Benefits eligible position.
Patient Care Coordinator/FOCUS RN (75.16) FT 1.0 Assesses and monitors clients health status and physical care needs at admission and while clients are in the program. They supervise clients in all aspects of medication self-administration and all management of medication and other client care supplies. Provides health education for clients and families as needed or requested. Also responsible for coordinating continuity of patient care between the patient, family, caregivers, care team, players and community resources as needed. They will facilitate and assist with inpatient admission, follow up after discharge and ED visits. They will work with the medical staff to develop, implement and carry out programs in chronic disease management for patients with such problems as Diabetes, Asthma, Congestive Heart Failure, Hypertension and Depression. The Patient Care Coordinator helps ensure patients understand every aspect of their care while also working with administration to create policies and make decisions that are in the best interest of the patient.
Pharmacist (92.16) Full Time 1.0 Is responsible for all hospital pharmacy operations including preparation and dispensing pharmaceuticals. Monitors drug therapies, answers questions relating to drug orders and complies with state and federal drug laws. Oversees pharmacy technician and inventory of pharmaceuticals. Must have current pharmacist licensure and be in good standing with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy. Monday through Friday schedule.
