RN – Med Surg (27.16) PT 0.6, Med Surg (25.16) FT 0.9, (33.16) PT 0.6, (39.16) FT 0.9 Is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with all ancillary and patient care team members. Consistently demonstrates standards of professional nursing practices in all clinic settings. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. BLS, ACLS, PALS and Neonatal certifications are required. Prior hospital experience preferred but not required.
RN – Emergency Dept. (57.16) Full Time 0.9, (32.16) PRN 0.3, Is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with all ancillary and patient care team members. Consistently demonstrates standards of professional nursing practices in all clinic settings. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR, ACLS, & PALS certifications are required; Neonatal certifications are recommended. Prior hospital experience preferred.
RN – OB (53.16) PT 0.6, (15.14) PRN, Is responsible to work under the direction of the physician providing a professional nursing assessment and initiating nursing care to patients presenting in the OB department. Determines the stages of labor of OB patients and the well-being of neonates. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to child-bearing women and newborn infants. Must have the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, and interpret the appropriate information to identify each patient’s needs in relation to age, Hospital, and department policy. Relates effectively with other departments of continuity of care’ maintaining satisfactory relations with physician, ancillary departments, and other nursing units. Participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and review and enhancement of current policies, procedures, and skills. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR and Neonatal certification are required; STABLE, ACLS and PALS certification required. Must successfully complete AWHONN within one year of hire.
Radiologic Tech (49.16) PT 0.6 is responsible to independently perform a variety of diagnostic procedures at a technical level, under the direction of a radiologist. Associates Degree of Applied Science, Radiologic Technology with ARRT certification, licensed to practice in the State of Ohio. Position also requires CPR certification.
Med Tech or MLT (3.16) PT 0.5 is responsible to perform chemical tests on body fluids and exudates; studies morphological constituents of blood, isolates, and identifies bacterial agents present in various specimens; and performs blood bank procedures to provide diagnostic data for physicians necessary in the treatment of diseases. Assists in clerical duties of the department and performs skilled phlebotomy procedures including venipuncture, capillary collection, and bleeding time tests. Med Tech requires a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, as well as ASCP or equivalent certification is required. In the event of a new graduate certification is required within an agreed upon time frame, preferably one year. BLS required. Benefits eligible position.
RN – Surgery/ED (42.16) FT 0.9, is responsible to assist in the nursing care and preparation of surgical patients. Participates in the preparation of reports relative to surgical procedures. Functions as a member of the surgical team creating and maintaining a sterile field. Directs proper care and storage of supplies and equipment used for operating room and the emergency room. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care in the immediate postoperative period. Mandatory call rotation requires 30 minute response time. Athletic Trainer (31.16) FT 1.0 will be able to demonstrate an ability to perform the following functions regarding athletic injuries: prevention, assessment, treatment (including first aid) and reconditioning as set forth by the NATA Board of Certification. Must have a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training or related field. Current licensure in the State of Ohio as an Athletic Trainer. Position also requires CPR certification.
Fitness Center Attendant (59.16) PRN Is responsible for overseeing fitness center activites, as well as orienating new fitness center members to the facility Fitness Instructor experience a plus.
Housekeeper (54.16) PRN 0.2 Is responsible to maintain a safe, clean, sanitary environment in all areas of the facility. Position is every other weekend and as needed to cover vacations, etc.
Coder (55.16) PT 1.0 is responsible to identify and code patient services and diagnoses for the purpose of reimbursement, accurate data collection and compliance with federal regulations according to diagnosis and procedure using ICD-10-CM and CPT-4. RHIT or RHIA Certification or certification eligible or associates degree in medical secretarial/medical billing field preferred. Observation, IV Infusion coding experience a plus and ED coding experience required.
