Clinical Job Openings

RN – Emergency Dept. (90.16) PRN 0.3, (72.16) PRN, is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with all ancillary and patient care team members. Consistently demonstrates standards of professional nursing practices in all clinic settings. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR, ACLS, & PALS certifications are required; Neonatal certifications are recommended. Prior hospital experience preferred.

RN – OB (2.17) PRN is responsible to work under the direction of the physician providing a professional nursing assessment and initiating nursing care to patients presenting in the OB department. Determines the stages of labor of OB patients and the well-being of neonates. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to child-bearing women and newborn infants.  Must have the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, and interpret the appropriate information to identify each patient’s needs in relation to age, Hospital, and department policy.  Relates effectively with other departments of continuity of care’ maintaining satisfactory relations with physician, ancillary departments, and other nursing units. Participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and review and enhancement of current policies, procedures, and skills.  Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR and Neonatal certification are required; STABLE, ACLS and PALS certification required. Must successfully complete AWHONN within one year of hire.

RN – Med Surg (15.17) PRN is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR, ACLS, & PALS certifications are required; Neonatal certifications are recommended. Prior hospital experience preferred.

Respiratory Therapist (73.16) PRN is responsible for administering patient respiratory therapy treatments within the scope of education and in accordance to physician orders.  Position requires CPR and neonatal certification along with ACLS and PALS recommended. Position is for every other weekend, 7 AM- 7 PM plus fill in as needed.

Med Tech or MLT (3.16) FT 1.0 is responsible to perform chemical tests on body fluids and exudates; studies morphological constituents of blood, isolates, and identifies bacterial agents present in various specimens; and performs blood bank procedures to provide diagnostic data for physicians necessary in the treatment of diseases.  Assists in clerical duties of the department and performs skilled phlebotomy procedures including venipuncture, and capillary collection. Med Tech requires a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, as well as ASCP or equivalent certification is required. In the event of a new graduate certification is required within an agreed upon time frame, preferably one year. BLS required. Benefits eligible position.

Phlebotomist (14.17) PRN is responsible for greeting outpatients and process laboratory test requisitions according to policies and procedures. Performs skilled phlebotomy procedures including venipuncture and capillary collection. High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an accredited program required. CPR required.

Physician Office Nurse (18.17) PT 0.6, (19.17) (LPN Float) FT 0.8 is responsible to administer nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of the physician.  Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties.  Assists physician with office procedures, collection and maintenance of accurate patient documents.  Ensures that exam rooms are cleaned and stocked, working toward maintaining a safe and clean environment.  Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a valid state nursing license as an LPN.  CPR certification is also required.

Certified Medical Assistant (17.17) 0.6 (48 hours per pay) is responsible for support of the physician in providing quality medical care to patients as well as monitoring physician’s schedule and making appropriate adjustments.  Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties.  Assists physician with office procedures, collection and maintenance of accurate patient documents. Ensures that exam rooms are cleaned and stocked, working toward maintaining a safe and clean environment. Upon clinician direction, the Medical Assistant is responsible for obtaining HMO referral authorization when needed. The medical assistant is responsible for maintaining CPR certification as well as complying with other hospital regulations.  Responsible for office functions as well including check in and check out of patients, posting charges and payments, collection of co-pays, batching of credit cards, and preparing deposits. High School graduate or equivalent with additional education as Medical Assistant preferred. Certification preferred.

Radiology/CT Tech (23.17) PRN is responsible to independently perform a variety of diagnostic procedures at a technical level, under the direction of a Radiologist. Responsibility involves imaging anatomical information from a cross-sectional plane of the body, with each image generated by a computer synthesis of x-ray transmission data obtained in many different directions in a given plane. A CT Tech obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, addresses patient concerns, and performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans. Associates degree of Applied Science, Radiologic Technology with ARRT certification, licensed to practice in the state of Ohio. CPR certification is also required

NON CLINICAL Job Openings

Maintenance Tech (89.16) Part Time 0.5 Is responsible for upkeep of the facility and general repairs as needed.  Previous general maintenance and mechanical skills required. Experience with HVAC, boilers and generators desired.  Experience with construction and special building projects a plus.  Benefits eligible position.                                    

Executive Assistant Full time (22.17) FT 80 hour a pay.   Is responsible for document creation, meeting coordination, event and contract management.  The position will work closely with the Foundation, Auxiliary, HR, marketing, and other departments. Professionalism, confidentiality, organization, efficiency, and proactiveness a must.  An Associates in Office Administration or related field preferred.  Other degrees will be considered if relevant to the position and / or healthcare.  Work experience may be substituted for education.  Candidate with 5 or more years in a similar role preferred.  Healthcare experience a plus.
