RN – Med Surg (34.15) PT 0.6, Med Surg (35.15) FT 0.9, Med Surg (50.14) PRN (0.3), (4.15) PRN , ED/Med Surg (29.15) PRN (0.3) Is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with all ancillary and patient care team members. Consistently demonstrates standards of professional nursing practices in all clinic settings. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR certification is required; ACLS, PALS and Neonatal certifications are recommended. Prior hospital experience preferred but not required.
RN – OB (15.14) PRN, Is responsible to work under the direction of the physician providing a professional nursing assessment and initiating nursing care to patients presenting in the OB department. Determines the stages of labor of OB patients and the well-being of neonates. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to child-bearing women and newborn infants. Must have the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, and interpret the appropriate information to identify each patient’s needs in relation to age, Hospital, and department policy. Relates effectively with other departments of continuity of care’ maintaining satisfactory relations with physician, ancillary departments, and other nursing units. Participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and review and enhancement of current policies, procedures, and skills. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR and Neonatal certification are required; STABLE, ACLS and PALS certification preferred. Must successfully complete AWHONN within one year of hire.
RN – OR (2.15) PRN is responsible to assist in the nursing care and preparation of surgical patients. Participates in the preparation of reports relative to surgical procedures. Functions as a member of the surgical team creating and maintaining a sterile field. Directs proper care and storage of supplies and equipment used for operating room and the emergency room. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care in the immediate postoperative period. Mandatory call rotation requires 30 minute response time. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice nursing in the State of Ohio. BLS, ACLS and PALS certification are required.
LPN- Med Surg (28.15) PT 0.6 is responsible to administer nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to patients, and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Speech Language Pathologist (36.15) PT 0.5 is responsible for patient evaluation, treatment plan, and follow through of specific treatment programs within the scope of Speech/Language Pathologist practice, as prescribed by the attending physician and based on the diagnosis, history, experience and goals of the client. Provides at leas indirect supervision to Speech & Language students. Requires completion of a MA/MS in Speech/Language Pathology and completion of eligibility for clinical Fellowship Year and current Ohio licensure. Ability to perform MBS studies preferred. One-two years of hospital or outpatient experience preferred.
Med Tech or MLT (6.15) PRN, (11.15) PRN is responsible to perform chemical tests on body fluids and exudates; studies morphological constituents of blood, isolates, and identifies bacterial agents present in various specimens; and performs blood bank procedures to provide diagnostic data for physicians necessary in the treatment of diseases. Assists in clerical duties of the department and performs skilled phlebotomy procedures including venipuncture, capillary collection, and bleeding time tests. Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, as well as ASCP or equivalent certification is required. In the event of a new graduate certification is required within an agreed upon time frame, preferably one year. BLS required.
Social Worker or RN (50.15) PT is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and administering activites of utilization of hospital resources against established criteria of external agencies, including monitoring and evaluation of medical necessity, appropriateness and efficient use of healthcare services, and providing reports and recommendations to the medical staff for improved utilization of resources. Graduate of an accredited social work or registered nursing program and currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.
Med Surg Nurse Manager (58.15) FT (1.0) Is responsible for planning, organizing, developing and direction for the overall operations of Med/Surg Services. Responsible for development and implementation of department policies/procedures and budgets. Ensures compliance with the Joint Commision, Medicare and other governing entities. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR certification is required; ACLS, PALS and Neonatal certifications are recommended. Three to five years of prior hospital clinical experience required with one to two years supervisory experience preferred.
Guest Services Representative (47.15) PT 0.5 is responsible for greeting and registering patients, ensuring that all patient information is current and correct. Copies insurance cards, receives co-payments and hospital payments. Responsible for preparing daily deposits and scheduling physician clinic appointments.
Physician Services Billing Representative (51.15) FT 1.0, (55.15) FT 1.0 is responsible to review patient account files ensuring accuracy and completeness of all documents. Determines appropriate billing distribution and processes statements in an accurate and timely manner. Monitors outstanding accounts and applies late charges, completes related forms, process refunds for overpayments and receives and answers billing related inquiries. Experience with physician office billing preferred.
Hospital Medicare Billing Representative (52.15) FT 1.0 is responsible to review patient account files ensuring accuracy and completeness of all documents. Determines appropriate billing distribution and processes statements in an accurate and timely manner. Monitors outstanding accounts and applies late charges, completes related forms, process refunds for overpayments and receives and answers billing related inquiries. Experience with hospital and Medicare billing required.
Medical Coder (42.15) FT 1.0, (54.15) FT 1.0 is responsible to identify and code patient services and diagnoses for the purpose of reimbursement, accurate data collection and compliance with federal regulations according to diagnosis and procedure using ICD-9 CM and CPT-4. RHIT or RHIA Certification or certification eligible or associates degree in medical secretarial/medical billing field preferred.
Fitness Center Attendant (46.15) PRN is responsible for overseeing fitness center activities as well as orientating new fitness members to the facility.
Housekeeper (25.15) PRN
is responsible to maintain a safe, clean, sanitary environment in all areas of the facility. This positon will work as needed plus fill in for vacations.
