RN – Med Surg (61.13) PRN (.3), (17.14) PRN, (31.14) PT (0.6), (36.14) PRN (0.3), (37.14 PT (0.6) Is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with all ancillary and patient care team members. Consistently demonstrates standards of professional nursing practices in all clinic settings. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR certification is required; ACLS, PALS and Neonatal certifications are recommended. Prior hospital experience preferred but not required.
RN – ED (11.14) PRN, (35.14) PT (0.6) Is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with all ancillary and patient care team members. Consistently demonstrates standards of professional nursing practices in all clinic settings. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR, ACLS, and PALS certification are required. Neonatal Resuscitation Provider certification is recommended. Also require completion of Critical Care Core I within 12 months of hire.
Physician Office LPN – Float (30.14) FT Responsible for office functions as well including check in and check out of patients, posting charges and payments, collection of co-pays, batching of credit cards, and preparing deposits. May be asked to support of the physician in providing quality medical care to patients as well as monitoring physician’s schedule and making appropriate adjustments. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Assists physician with office procedures, collection and maintenance of accurate patient documents. Ensures that exam rooms are cleaned and stocked, working toward maintaining a safe and clean environment. Is responsible for obtaining HMO referral authorization when needed. Ohio LPN license is required. One to two years previous work experience in a physician office is preferred.
RN – OB (15.14) PRN Is responsible to work under the direction of the physician providing a professional nursing assessment and initiating nursing care to patients presenting in the OB department. Determines the stages of labor of OB patients and the well-being of neonates. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to child-bearing women and newborn infants. Must have the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, and interpret the appropriate information to identify each patient’s needs in relation to age, Hospital, and department policy. Relates effectively with other departments of continuity of care’ maintaining satisfactory relations with physician, ancillary departments, and other nursing units. Participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and review and enhancement of current policies, procedures, and skills. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR and Neonatal certification are required; STABLE, ACLS and PALS certification preferred. Must successfully complete AWHONN within one year of hire.
RN – OR (38.14) FT (0.8) is responsible to assist in the nursing care and preparation of surgical patients. Participates in the preparation of reports relative to surgical procedures. Functions as a member of the surgical team creating and maintaining a sterile field. Directs proper care and storage of supplies and equipment used for operating room and the emergency room. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care in the immediate postoperative period. Mandatory call rotation requires 30 minute response time. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice nursing in the State of Ohio. BLS, ACLS and PALS certification are required. Prior nursing experience in the Surgical Department is preferred.
Med Tech or MLT (22.14) PRN Is responsible to perform chemical tests on body fluids and exudates; studies morphological constituents of blood, isolates, and identifies bacterial agents present in various specimens; and performs blood bank procedures to provide diagnostic data for physicians necessary in the treatment of diseases. Assists in clerical duties of the department and performs skilled phlebotomy procedures including venipuncture, capillary collection, and bleeding time tests. Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, as well as ASCP or equivalent certification is required. In the event of a new graduate certification is required within an agreed upon time frame, preferably one year. BLS required.
Phlebotomist (34.14) PRN is responsible for greeting outpatients and processes laboratory test requisitions according to established policies and procedures. Types various forms, reports, and memorandums; answers telephones, taking and relaying messages; as well as performing a variety of miscellaneous clerical duties. Performs skilled phlebotomy procedures including venipuncture and capillary collection as well as bleeding time tests. Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program required. 1-2 years phlebotomy experience preferred.
