RN – Med Surg (27.16) PT 0.6, (33.16) PT 0.6, (61.16) PT 0.6* Is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with all ancillary and patient care team members. Consistently demonstrates standards of professional nursing practices in all clinic settings. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. BLS, ACLS, PALS and Neonatal certifications are required. Prior hospital experience preferred but not required.
RN – Emergency Dept. (32.16) PRN 0.3, (72.16) PRN, (61.16) PRN 0.3* Is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with all ancillary and patient care team members. Consistently demonstrates standards of professional nursing practices in all clinic settings. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR, ACLS, & PALS certifications are required; Neonatal certifications are recommended. Prior hospital experience preferred.
RN – OB (53.16) PT 0.6, (15.14) PRN Is responsible to work under the direction of the physician providing a professional nursing assessment and initiating nursing care to patients presenting in the OB department. Determines the stages of labor of OB patients and the well-being of neonates. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to child-bearing women and newborn infants. Must have the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, and interpret the appropriate information to identify each patient’s needs in relation to age, Hospital, and department policy. Relates effectively with other departments of continuity of care’ maintaining satisfactory relations with physician, ancillary departments, and other nursing units. Participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and review and enhancement of current policies, procedures, and skills. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR and Neonatal certification are required; STABLE, ACLS and PALS certification required. Must successfully complete AWHONN within one year of hire.
LPN- Med Surg (82.16) FT (0.9) 7pm-7am Is responsible to administer nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the RN in charge of the team and/or unit. Graduate of an accreditited school for Licensed Practical Nurses and currently licensed to practice nursing in the State of Ohio. CPR certification is required.
Respiratory Therapist (73.16) PRN Is responsible for administering patient respiratory therapy treatments within the scope of education and in accordance to physician orders. Position requires CPR and neonatal certification along with ACLS and PALS recommended. Position is for every other weekend, 7 AM- 7 PM plus fill in as needed.
Physician Office LPN (83.16) FT 0.9 Is responsible to administer nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of the physician. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Assists physician with office procedures, collection and maintenance of accurate patient documents. May be required to compile reports. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Practical Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR certification is required. Prior physician office experience preferred.
Med Tech or MLT (3.16) PT 0.5 Is responsible to perform chemical tests on body fluids and exudates; studies morphological constituents of blood, isolates, and identifies bacterial agents present in various specimens; and performs blood bank procedures to provide diagnostic data for physicians necessary in the treatment of diseases. Assists in clerical duties of the department and performs skilled phlebotomy procedures including venipuncture, capillary collection, and bleeding time tests. Med Tech requires a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, as well as ASCP or equivalent certification is required. In the event of a new graduate certification is required within an agreed upon time frame, preferably one year. BLS required. Benefits eligible position.
Patient Care Coordinator/FOCUS RN (75.16) FT 1.0 Assesses and monitors clients health status and physical care needs at admission and while clients are in the program. They supervise clients in all aspects of medication self-administration and all management of medication and other client care supplies. Provides health education for clients and families as needed or requested. Also responsible for coordinating continuity of patient care between the patient, family, caregivers, care team, players and community resources as needed. They will facilitate and assist with inpatient admission, follow up after discharge and ED visits. They will work with the medical staff to develop, implement and carry out programs in chronic disease management for patients with such problems as Diabetes, Asthma, Congestive Heart Failure, Hypertension and Depression. The Patient Care Coordinator helps ensure patients understand every aspect of their care while also working with administration to create policies and make decisions that are in the best interest of the patient.
Materials Management Buyer (78.16) FT 1.0 Is responsible for the organization and supervision of the daily functions of the department to assure efficiency in daily operations and completion of tasks and objectives. Must be knowledgeable and competent on all essential functions for supervision of the department, and perform specific essential functions as well as department compliance of education and responsibilities in the area of GPO agreements, service maintenance, and lease and rental agreements, as well as major capital purchases. Responsibilities include financial analysis of existing purchasing practices, decision support, and contract negotiation and execution. Perform functions of purchasing agent including issuing purchase orders, placing orders, interacting with vendors, researching pricing, to ensure lowest competitor price. Position also provides support to the Stock Clerk as necessary, including product and pricing revision, laundry and supply stocking. Position is directly responsible for inventory and inventory control. Three to five years purchasing experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, with supervisory experience. Some clinical background a plus.
Stock Clerk (79.16) FT 0.75 Is responsible to provide clerical support in maintaining master listings/files of vendors, items, contracts, product recalls, and freight issues. Serve as a centralized resource regarding laundry duties, receiving, and stocking supplies for Med/Surg, ER, OB, and Pyxis room. Provides support to the Purchasing Agent as needed, including assistance in processing purchase orders, fielding calls from various departments regarding order/delivery status, running various reports, creating requisitions, and inventory. Prefer two years’ experience with purchasing or related activities.
Columbus Street Café Coordinator (84.16) FT 1.0 is responsible for planning, organizing, and developing of the Food Services department. Focusing primarily on consistently updating the café with new recipes and ideas. Performs food preparation and clean up duties, and ensures compliance with standards of practice and regulatory requirements. Responsible for leading all team members in the efficient and profitable operation of the Columbus Street Café and responsible for maintaining high standards and conditions, which provides consistent appealing, fast, efficient and friendly service for both our customers and team members. Dietary Manager Certification (CDM) preferred. Must be an individual who has experience with restaurant food preparation/or culinary education. Prefer 1-3 years previous food services management and restaurant experience. Experience with quantity food preparation and/or catering as well as preparation of prescribed diets is recommended. Must be Servesafe certified or become certified.
