Clinical Job Openings

CLINICAL

 

Nurse Practitioner (60.17) Full time and part time positions open to start a new service that will see patients in late afternoon and early evenings. Service will be open 6 to 7 days per week.  Possession of a Master’s Degree in Nursing and relevant nursing practitioner training/certifications in the specialty area for the position held.

 

Team Leader Med Surg (11.18) FT is a combination of 72 hours patient care and 8 hours of paper duties such as the nursing schedules, participation with evaluations and other duties as assigned.

 

Coder (19.18) FT is responsible to identify and code patient services and diagnoses for the purpose of reimbursement, accurate data collection and compliance with federal regulations according to diagnosis and procedure using ICD-10-CM and CPT-4.  In addition, assists in the provision of HIM services, follows the policies and procedures of the department standards and department objectives, and assists the HIM Manager as needed.

 

Pharmacy Tech PRN (15.18) (32 hours/pay) assists in filling medication orders and maintaining appropriate levels of medication in the PYXIS, ensuring accurate and appropriate charging.

 

Physician Office LPN (34.17) PT (Dr. Gray) 0.6 (48 hours per pay), (57.17) FT – Float 0.8 (64 hours per pay), CMA/LPN (Antwerp NP) (14.18) FT is responsible to administer nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of the physician. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Assists physician with office procedures, collection and maintenance of accurate patient documents. Ensures that exam rooms are cleaned and stocked, working toward maintaining a safe and clean environment. Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a valid state nursing license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse. CPR certification is also required. One to two years previous work experience in a physician office is preferred. Must be able to perform nursing skills and operate equipment. Excellent time management and organizational skills are very helpful. Requires excellent communications skills, both oral and written, as well as being computer literate.

 

Rad Tech/CMA (20.18) PT .6 (Harlan Office) is responsible for support of the physician in providing quality medical care to patients through medical imaging as well as monitoring physician’s schedule and making appropriate adjustments. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Assists physician with office procedures, collection and maintenance of accurate patient documents. Ensures that exam rooms are cleaned and stocked, working toward maintaining a safe and clean environment. Upon clinician direction, this position is responsible for obtaining referral or preauthorization when needed. This position is required for maintaining CPR certification as well as complying with other hospital regulations. Responsible for office functions as well including check in and check out of patients, posting charges and payments, collection of co-pays, batching of credit cards, and preparing deposits as directed.

 

Phlebotomist (50.17) PRN is responsible for greeting outpatients and processes laboratory test requisitions according to established policies and procedures. Types various forms, reports, and memorandums; answers telephones, taking and relaying messages; as well as performing a variety of miscellaneous clerical duties. Performs skilled phlebotomy procedures including venipuncture and capillary collection. High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program required. BLS required.

 

Registered Nurse – Surgery (4.18, 5.18) FT is responsible to assist in the nursing care and preparation of surgical patients.  Functions as a member of the surgical team with the ability to function in the pre-op, post-op areas, along with intraoperative circulating duties. Assists with the proper care and storage of supplies and equipment used for operating room. Consistently demonstrates standards of professional nursing practice in all settings.  Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR, ACLS certifications are required. PALS and Neonatal are recommended. Mandatory call rotation requires 30 minute response time.

 

Registered Nurse – Med/Surg (15.17) PRN, (55.17) PRN, (1.18) PRN is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with all ancillary and patient care team members. Consistently demonstrates standards of professional nursing practice in all clinic settings. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR, ACLS, PALS certifications are required; Neonatal certification is recommended.

 

Registered Nurse - Emergency Dept. (72.16) PRN, (90.16) PRN, (40.17) 0.3 PRN, (18.18) FT is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with all ancillary and patient care team members. Consistently demonstrates standards of professional nursing practice. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required; CPR, ACLS, and PALS, certifications are required with Neonatal certification is recommended. . Prior emergency department hospital experience preferred.

 

Registered Nurse – OB (2.17) PRN, (44.17) 0.6 (48 hours per pay) is responsible to provide a professional nursing assessment and the initiation of nursing care to patients presenting in the OB department. Determines the stages of labor of OB patients and the well-being of neonates. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to child-bearing women and newborn infants.  Must have the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, and interpret the appropriate information to identify each patient’s needs in relation to age, Hospital, and department policy. Communicates effectively with other departments for the continuity of care maintaining satisfactory relationships with physicians, ancillary departments, and other nursing units. Participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and review and enhancement of current policies, procedures, and skills.  Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR and Neonatal certification are required; STABLE, ACLS and PALS certification required. Must successfully complete AWHONN within one year of hire.

 

Respiratory Therapist (2.18) PRN is responsible for administering patient Respiratory therapy treatments within the scope of education, and in accordance to physician orders. Associate’s degree in an accredited Respiratory Care Program and licensed to practice in the State of Ohio or possess a limited permit license and be a student in good standing in a Respiratory Care educational program.

 

Scrub Tech – Surgery (62.17, 6.18, 7.18, 8.18) FT is responsible to assist in the care and preparation of surgical patients.  Functions as a member of the OR sterile team by preparing equipment, ensuring all needed equipment for procedures and that equipment is sterilized,  assembled and in proper working order;  creating and maintaining a sterile field and passing instruments, and cutting suture. Graduate of an accredited ORT/surg tech program with current CPR certification. Maintains proper care and storage of supplies and equipment used for operating room. Must be able to work in Central Sterile. Mandatory call rotation requires 30 minute response time.
