CLINICAL

 

LPN (46.19) PRN, (49.19) PRN (Med-Surg) This position is responsible for administering nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to patients, and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

 

CMA/LPN (62.19) FT (Orthopedic Experience Required) This position is responsible to administer nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of the physician. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Assists physician with office procedures, collection and maintenance of accurate patient documents. Ensures that exam rooms are cleaned and stocked, working toward maintaining a safe and clean environment.

 

CMA/LPN  (64.19) FT .8 (Bleck), (66.19) FT .9 (Johnson) This position is responsible to administer nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of the physician. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Assists physician with office procedures, collection and maintenance of accurate patient documents. Ensures that exam rooms are cleaned and stocked, working toward maintaining a safe and clean environment.

 

CMA (45.19) FT (Garza) This position is responsible for scheduling and greeting patients, monitoring and updating the physician’s schedule and informing patients as to the approximately length of delays in schedule. Also responsible for updating patient demographics and obtaining current insurance information.  May assist with inputting charges into the computer system, accepting and posting payments, reconciling daily charges and assisting patients with insurance questions. Assists physician with office procedures, collection and maintenance of accurate patient documents. Ensures that exam rooms are cleaned and stocked, working toward maintaining a safe and clean environment.

 

Medical Technologist (MT/MLT) (60.19) FT Weekend Bailer This position is responsible to perform chemical tests on body fluids and exudates; studies morphological constituents of blood, isolates, and identifies bacterial agents present in various specimens; and performs blood bank procedures to provide diagnostic data for physicians necessary in the treatment of diseases.  Assists in clerical duties of the department and performs skilled phlebotomy procedures including venipuncture, and capillary collection. Must be able to travel to physician offices, health fairs, and nursing homes to complete draws.

 

Registered Nurse ER (40.17) .3 Nights This position is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with all ancillary and patient care team members. Consistently demonstrates standards of professional nursing practice in all clinic settings. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications are required; Neonatal certification is recommended.

 

Registered Nurse – Med/Surg (3.19) .3 Nights, (50.19) .9 Nights, (68.19) .3 Days This position is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with all ancillary and patient care team members. Respiratory Therapist (63.19) FT Weekend Bailer This position is responsible for administering patient Respiratory therapy treatments within the scope of education, and in accordance to physician orders.

 

Surgical Technologist (58.19, 71.19) 1.0 This position is responsible to assist in the nursing care and preparation of surgical patients. Functions as a member of the OR sterile team, creating and maintaining a sterile field and issuing instruments to surgeons. Maintains proper care and storage of supplies and equipment used for operating room and emergency room patient care. Mandatory call rotation requires 30 minute response time.

 

 

 

NON-CLINICAL

 

Biller (67.19) 1.0 This position is responsible to review patient account files, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all documents. Determines appropriate billing distribution and processes statements in an accurate and timely manner. Monitors outstanding accounts and applies late charges; and completes related forms; processes refunds for overpayments and receives and answers billing related inquiries. Experience Preferred: BWC and Medicare Billing

 

Coder (35.19) 1.0 This position is responsible to identify and code patient services and diagnoses for the purpose of reimbursement, accurate data collection and compliance with federal regulations according to diagnosis and procedure using ICD-10-CM and CPT-4. In addition, assists in the provision of HIM services, follows the policies and procedures of the department standards and department objectives, and assists the HIM Manager as needed. Must have a CPC certification or obtain within 6 months. Experience Required: Outpatient/ED/IP and Swingbed experience

 

Cook (51.19) PRN This position is responsible for preparation and services of meals for patients, employees, Meals on Wheels, and special events as planned by the Food & Nutrition Services coordinator.

 

Housekeeper (59.19, 70.19) PRN This position is responsible to maintain a safe, clean, sanitary environment in all areas of the facility.

 

New     Stock Clerk (69.19) FT This position is responsible to provide clerical support in maintaining master listings/files of vendors, items, contracts, product recalls, and freight issues. Serve as a centralized resource regarding laundry duties, receiving, and stocking supplies for Med/Surg, ER, OB, OR and Pyxis room.  Provides support to the Purchasing Agent as needed, including assistance in processing purchase orders, fielding calls from various departments regarding order/delivery status, running various reports, creating requisitions, and inventory.
