Clinical Job Openings

CLINICAL

LPN (31.18) 1.0 FT Positions open to start a new service that will see patients in the late afternoon and early evenings. Service will be open 6 to 7 days per week. This position is responsible to administer nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of the physician. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Assists physician with office procedures, collection and maintenance of accurate patient documents. Ensures that exam rooms are cleaned and stocked, working toward maintaining a safe and clean environment.

 

LPN/CMA (56.18) .9 FT (Antwerp Office) is responsible for support of the physician in providing quality medical care to patients as well as monitoring physician or Nurse Practitioner’s schedule and making appropriate adjustments. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Assists physician with office procedures, collection and maintenance of accurate patient documents. Ensures that exam rooms are cleaned and stocked, working toward maintaining a safe and clean environment. Upon clinician direction, the Medical Assistant is responsible for obtaining HMO referral authorization when needed. The medical assistant is responsible for maintaining CPR certification as well as complying with other hospital regulations.

New     Certified Medical Assistant (60.18) .8 Float This position is responsible for support of the physician in providing quality medical care to patients as well as monitoring physician’s schedule and making appropriate adjustments. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Assists physician with office procedures, collection and maintenance of accurate patient documents. Ensures that exam rooms are cleaned and stocked, working toward maintaining a safe and clean environment. Upon clinician direction, the Medical Assistant is responsible for obtaining HMO referral authorization when needed. The medical assistant is responsible for maintaining CPR certification as well as complying with other hospital regulations.

 

Medical Scribe (24.18) .5 PT is responsible for joining doctors during patient exams, documenting data to include in electronic health records. Must have experience in family practice.

 

Lab MT/MLT (26.18) PRN is responsible to perform chemical tests on body fluids and exudates; studies morphological constituents of blood, isolates, and identifies bacterial agents present in various specimens; and performs blood bank procedures to provide diagnostic data for physicians necessary in the treatment of diseases. Assists in clerical duties of the department and performs skilled phlebotomy procedures including venipuncture, and capillary collection.

 

New     Phlebotomist (62.18) PRN is responsible for greeting outpatients and processes laboratory test requisitions according to established policies and procedures. Types various forms, reports, and memorandums; answers telephones, taking and relaying messages; as well as performing a variety of miscellaneous clerical duties. Performs skilled phlebotomy procedures including venipuncture and capillary collection. Must be able to travel to physician offices, health fairs, and nursing homes to complete draws.

 

 

New     Registered Nurse – Surgery (58.18, 59.18) FT is responsible to assist in the nursing care and preparation of surgical patients.  Participates in the preparation of reports relative to surgical procedures.  Functions as a member of the surgical team creating and maintaining a sterile field.  Directs proper care and storage of supplies and equipment used for operating room and the emergency room.  Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care in the immediate postoperative period. Mandatory call rotation requires 30 minute response time.

 

Registered Nurse – Med/Surg (55.17) PRN, (1.18) PRN, (34.18) PRN, (49.18) FT .9 (Nights), (57.18) FT .9 (Nights) is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with all ancillary and patient care team members. Consistently demonstrates standards of professional nursing practice in all clinic settings. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR, ACLS, PALS certifications are required; Neonatal certification is recommended.

 

Registered Nurse - Emergency Dept. (40.17) 0.3 (Nights) is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with all ancillary and patient care team members. Consistently demonstrates standards of professional nursing practice. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required; CPR, ACLS, and PALS, certifications are required with Neonatal certification is recommended. Prior emergency department hospital experience preferred.

 

Registered Nurse – OB (2.17) PRN, (51.18) PRN is responsible to provide a professional nursing assessment and the initiation of nursing care to patients presenting in the OB department. Determines the stages of labor of OB patients and the well-being of neonates. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to child-bearing women and newborn infants. Must have the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, and interpret the appropriate information to identify each patient’s needs in relation to age, Hospital, and department policy. Communicates effectively with other departments for the continuity of care maintaining satisfactory relationships with physicians, ancillary departments, and other nursing units. Participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and review and enhancement of current policies, procedures, and skills. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR and Neonatal certification are required; STABLE, ACLS and PALS certification required. Must successfully complete AWHONN within one year of hire.

 

 

NON-CLINICAL

 

Cook (54.18) PRN is responsible for preparation and services of meals for patients, employees, Meals on Wheels, and special events as planned by the Food & Nutrition Services coordinator.

 

New       Physician Office Manager (64.18) FT is responsible for support of the physicians in providing quality medical care to patients as well as provide training and education to the team members of the department. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties; collection and maintenance of accurate patient documents, creating procedure manuals, and leads the Meaningful Use efforts in the physician clinics. Ensures adequate staffing in all clinics. Must participate in diabetes education. Must be a RN or LPN.
