Clinical Job Openings

CLINICAL

 

LPN (31.18, 34.18) 1.0 FT Positions open to start a new service that will see patients in the late afternoon and early evenings. Service will be open 6 to 7 days per week. This position is responsible to administer nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of the physician. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Assists physician with office procedures, collection and maintenance of accurate patient documents. Ensures that exam rooms are cleaned and stocked, working toward maintaining a safe and clean environment.

 

Medical Assistant (32.18, 33.18) 1.0 FT Positions open to start a new service that will see patients in the late afternoon and early evenings. Service will be open 6 to 7 days per week. This position is responsible for support of the physician in providing quality medical care to patients as well as monitoring physician’s schedule and making appropriate adjustments. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Assists physician with office procedures, collection and maintenance of accurate patient documents. Ensures that exam rooms are cleaned and stocked, working toward maintaining a safe and clean environment. Upon clinician direction, the Medical Assistant is responsible for obtaining HMO referral authorization when needed. The medical assistant is responsible for maintaining CPR certification as well as complying with other hospital regulations.

 

Medical Scribe (24.18) .5 PT is responsible for joining doctors during patient exams, documenting data to include in electronic health records. Must have experience in family practice.

 

Lab MT/MLT (26.18) PRN is responsible to perform chemical tests on body fluids and exudates; studies morphological constituents of blood, isolates, and identifies bacterial agents present in various specimens; and performs blood bank procedures to provide diagnostic data for physicians necessary in the treatment of diseases. Assists in clerical duties of the department and performs skilled phlebotomy procedures including venipuncture, and capillary collection. *Mostly weekend coverage needed 8am-8:30pm*

 

Physician Office CMA (34.17) PT (Dr. Gray) 0.6 PT is responsible to administer nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of the physician. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Assists physician with office procedures, collection and maintenance of accurate patient documents. Ensures that exam rooms are cleaned and stocked, working toward maintaining a safe and clean environment. Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a valid state nursing license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse. CPR certification is also required. One to two years previous work experience in a physician office is preferred. Must be able to perform nursing skills and operate equipment. Excellent time management and organizational skills are very helpful. Requires excellent communications skills, both oral and written, as well as being computer literate.

 

Registered Nurse – Med/Surg (55.17) PRN, (1.18) PRN, (34.18) PRN is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with all ancillary and patient care team members. Consistently demonstrates standards of professional nursing practice in all clinic settings. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR, ACLS, PALS certifications are required; Neonatal certification is recommended.

 

Registered Nurse - Emergency Dept. (90.16) .3 (Days), (40.17) 0.3 (Nights) is responsible to assess patient/family needs; plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates care for patients. Participates in patient and family education. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with all ancillary and patient care team members. Consistently demonstrates standards of professional nursing practice. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required; CPR, ACLS, and PALS, certifications are required with Neonatal certification is recommended. Prior emergency department hospital experience preferred.

 

New   Registered Nurse – OB (2.17) PRN, (47.18) .6 PT (Nights) is responsible to provide a professional nursing assessment and the initiation of nursing care to patients presenting in the OB department. Determines the stages of labor of OB patients and the well-being of neonates. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to child-bearing women and newborn infants. Must have the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, and interpret the appropriate information to identify each patient’s needs in relation to age, Hospital, and department policy. Communicates effectively with other departments for the continuity of care maintaining satisfactory relationships with physicians, ancillary departments, and other nursing units. Participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and review and enhancement of current policies, procedures, and skills. Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio. CPR and Neonatal certification are required; STABLE, ACLS and PALS certification required. Must successfully complete AWHONN within one year of hire.

 

Respiratory Therapist (2.18) PRN is responsible for administering patient Respiratory therapy treatments within the scope of education, and in accordance to physician orders. Associate’s degree in an accredited Respiratory Care Program and licensed to practice in the State of Ohio or possess a limited permit license and be a student in good standing in a Respiratory Care educational program.

 

New   Licensed Social Worker (48.18) PT .6 is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and administering activities of utilization of hospital resources against established criteria of external agencies. These activities include monitoring and evaluation the medical necessity, appropriateness and efficient use of healthcare services, and providing reports and recommendations to the medical staff for improved utilization of resources. Must work collaboratively with all hospital departments, physicians, and staff, as well as community agencies and patients/families for assistance after discharge.

 

Unit Assistant (42.18) .3 is responsible to provide general clerical, receptionist, and patient-related duties on the nursing unit. Works under the general direction of licensed nursing staff.
